AVETMISS Error – a Student’s USI is NOT verified

How do I fix this?

USI verification is very important for AVETMISS submission. To fix this error, please follow the steps below:

Step 1 – Go to TEAMS > Student > General > Student Entry screen.

Step 2 – Open the student for which you want to fix the error. To do this enter the student’s name or student number in the field beside the GO button and then press the Enter key on your keyboard or the GO button to search and find the student.

Step 3 – On the Details tab, you will see a Verify USI button on the right side of the Unique Student Identifier Field.

If there is a red cross on the right side of Verify USI button then it means USI is not verified for this student.

Click on the Verify USI button to verify the USI and verification request will be submitted to USI Request Centre (TEAMS Workplace > Quick Links > USI Request Centre) where you can see the status of the request.

Once USI gets verified, red cross will be changed to green tick (TEAMS > Student > General > Student Entry > Details Tab > Unique Student Identifier).
