AVETMISS FAQ – AVETMISS Provider Type Mismatch

How to fix AVETMISS Error 

This AVETMISS error appears when an incorrect AVETMISS Provider Type (RTO Type) is selected in TEAMS.

To fix this error, you need to go to the System Settings Screen (TEAMS > Setup > Organisation > Organisation Details screen > System Settings button > AVETMISS Tab).


On the System Settings > AVETMISS Tab, you need to select the correct RTO Type:-

For Ex:- ’91 – Education/training business or centre: Privately operated registered training organisation’ option needs to selected if the RTO is a privately owned business.


’11 – TAFE: a technical and further education institute (organisation)’ needs to be selected if the college is a TAFE organisation.

Once the required option is selected, SAVE the screen and the correct RTO Type will start displaying in the AVETMISS NAT files.
