How to fix AVETMISS Error
This AVETMISS error is interlinked between the two fields and it appears when a value for Proficiency in Spoken English has been selected and also at the same time one of the following Language Identifier (Language spoken at home) is selected:-
- 1201 – English
- 9700 – Sign
- 9701 – Sign Language Australia
- 9702 – Makaton Sign
- 9799 – American Sign Language
- @@@ – Not Stated
To check the Language Identifier you need to go to the Student Entry Screen (TEAMS > Student > General > Student entry), search for the required student then open the AVETMISS tab.
On the AVETMISS tab, you can check for the selected value in the ‘Language spoken at home’ field and if it has been selected as one of the above options then the Proficiency of English MUST be BLANK in the Edit AVETMISS screen.
