How to fix AVETMISS Error
This AVETMISS error appears when the RTO ID is incorrectly mentioned on the Organisation level or the Campus level.
The business rule regarding RTO ID is that it should be a 10-digit number.
So, TEAMS automatically adds the zeros as fillers while importing the data into AVETMISS because normally the RTO ID is 5 or 6 digits in length.
RTO ID can be either added at Organisation Screen or Campus Screen.
If there is only one campus for an RTO, then you need to enter the correct Organisation ID on the Organisation Details screen (TEAMS > Setup > Organisation) in the below highlighted field.
RTO ID information is present on www.training.gov.au
If there are multiple campuses for an RTO as per location, then you need to enter the RTO ID in the Campus Entry Screen (TEAMS > Setup > Academic > Campus screen > AVETMISS Tab).
On this tab, select the state press the ‘GO’ button and a new dialogue box will open where you can enter the RTO ID and save the screen in the below highlighted field.
