This article describes how to fix AVETMISS Error – Withdrawals from Government funded training must be reported with Outcome Identifier – National code 40.
Before You Start
This Avetmiss error is a state specific and only valid for Victoria and Queensland Funding. It means that when a funded student decides to withdraw from a Unit of Competency/Module then Outcome Identifier (i.e. Result selected in TEAMS) should appear as 40 (i.e. Withdrawn) in NAT000120 file.
How To Fix Error
To fix this error, you can go to TEAMS > Student > Enrolment Centre > Academic > Student Results screen. On this screen, you have to enter the result as Withdrawn for the required Unit of Competency/Module.
You have to also mention the Withdrawn Hours for the same Unit of Competency/Module in the Student Results Screen because if the student has withdrawn from a Unit of Competency/Module then the student must have studied some hours in the RTO (For ex:- 1, 2, 5, 10, etc.) which you need to specify in the ‘Hours Attended’ column.
After entering all the required details simply save the screen to remove this error.
