AVETMISS Error – Qualification flag is ‘Y’ and ‘Year issued’ is empty

Before You Start

This AVETMISS error appears if the ‘Completed Qual’ flag has been selected as FULL in the enrolment centre but the Year Issued flag is exported as @@@@ i.e. enrolment has not been flagged as FINISHED in TEAMS.

How To Fix Error

To fix this error, you need to make sure that the enrolment should be flagged as FINISHED if Completed Qual is selected as FULL.

AVETMISS FAQ – Qualification flag is ‘N’ and ‘Year issued’ is ‘YYYY’

This article describes how to fix AVETMISS error – Qualification flag is ‘N’ and ‘Year issued’ is ‘YYYY’.

Before you Start

This AVETMISS error appears if an enrolment has Abeen flagged as FINISHED in TEAMS but the ‘Completed Qual’ drop down is selected as SOA instead of FULL.

Completed Qual is selected as FULL in the Enrolment Centre if a student has successfully completed all its units/modules.

Completed Qual is selected as SOA in the Enrolment Centre if a student has not successfully completed all its units/modules and only completed some of the units/modules.

How To Fix Error

For fixing this error, you need to make sure that when an enrolment is flagged as FINISHED then the Completed Qual flag should be selected as FULL.

AVETMISS Error – Student’s First Given Name must not be blank

This AVETMISS error appears if for some reason, student’s first given name is left blank.

To fix this error, you can go to TEAMS > Student > General > Student Entry screen. On this screen, you have to enter the given first name of the required student in the First name field and save the screen to remove this error.

If the student is having only one single name then you need to go to the USI form of ID tab. Once you tick the tick box for ‘Does this student have one name?’ then the new mandatory ‘Student name’ field will appear where you can enter the single name for the required student and save the screen to remove this error.

AVETMISS Error – The Outcome Identifier – National must not be blank

How to fix this?

This AVETMISS error appears when the Outcome Identifier (Final Result) is BLANK for the required Unit of Competency/Module whose start or end dates fall in between the export dates.

You can go to TEAMS > Student > Enrolment Centre > Academic > Enrolment Subject/Module screen to check the Module/Unit Start and End dates.

Whichever module/unit has an end date which has passed, that module/unit should have a final outcome

You can go to the Student Result Screen (TEAMS > Student > Enrolment Centre > Academic) to mark a final result for the problematic module/unit to remove this error.

AVETMISS Error – If Outcome Identifier – National = 60, the Scheduled Hours must be 0000

Clients do not have to worry about this AVETMISS error because this check is already present in TEAMS.

Whenever the NAT files get generated from TEAMS, if the Outcome Identifier (Final Result) is marked as 60 (Credit transfer) then the scheduled hours are exported as 0000 in NAT00120 file.

AVETMISS FAQ – The Study Reason Identifier must not be blank

This AVETMISS error is STATE specific and it appears if the reason of study for the required student is missing.

To fix this error, you can go to TEAMS > Student > Enrolment Centre > Action button > Edit AVETMISS screen. On this screen you can select one value from the drop down menu of the ‘Study Reason’ field, save the screen to remove this error.
